
Jennifer had always hoped to become a multitasking superstar. In her youth Jennifer was a fan of many different musical styles, mostly Afro-Caribbean musics like merengue, salsa and bachata. She also loved mainstream music , like hip hop and R&B. While she was a fan of films, music also intrigued her. Her most significant influence came from the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer isn't only a skilled entertainer. She also spent 8 years at an Catholic elementary school , called Holy Family. Jennifer then left after four years of Preston High School. While at the school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, and played track and field and tennis. When she was in Castle Hill, she spent her youth in a 2 story residence. After turning 18, Jennifer moved out of the house of her parents. Lopez started her job at an office in the field of law while dancing in the evenings.
