Allison Williams

Allison Howell Williams (born April 13, 1988) was an American producer and actress. Her name has been referred to as a "horror queen" by media outlets for her horror film work. Her first fame was for the role of Marnie Michaels in the HBO comedy-drama series Girls (2012-2017) that resulted in a Critics' Choice Award nomination. The actress made her name known with her character, Rose Armitage, in the horror movie Get Out (2017). She was nominated for nominations at the MTV Movie Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. She went on to star in two horror films The Perfection (2018) and M3GAN (2022), the latter of which she directed. Williams was born and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut, the daughter of the former NBC Nightly News anchor and managing editor Brian Williams and TV producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. Williams has an older brother. Williams went to New Canaan Country School, as well as Greenwich Academy. Later, she attended Yale University majoring in English She was also a member of Morse College and the St. Elmo secret society. Williams was one of the Ralph Lauren outlet employee in New Canaan. She was also an active member for the last four years of the Just Add water improv group, and was a part of the YouTube show College Musical. Sam Tsui was featured in the film and Kurt Hugo Schneider directed. Both are graduates of Yale. She graduated with a bachelor's in English at Yale in 2010. Allison Allison Allison
